This week Cammy challenged everyone to make a dish using grains
Did you know that grits were a grain? Well you do now.
I made this cheesy grits casserole. I’d like to say I followed a recipe but I really kind of winged it. 1 cup of grits (I used stone ground grits), a cup of water and about a half cup of milk, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Once cooked I added cheddar, mozzarella, parmesan, cream cheese and butter. Baked it in a 350 oven for about 15 minutes.
My little work buddy and I had a very nice breakfast.
