šŸžMore Than Enough

šŸ”¹ Scripture:
“At mealtime Boaz said to her, ā€˜Come over here. Have some bread and dip it in the wine vinegar.’ When she sat down with the harvesters, he offered her some roasted grain. She ate all she wanted and had some left over. … As she gleaned in the field until evening, she threshed the barley she had gathered, and it amounted to about an ephah.”

Ruth 2:14–17

šŸ“œ Background:
Ruth arrived in the fields as a foreigner, uncertain of what lay ahead. Yet, not only did Boaz offer her a place to glean—he invited her to share in a meal, treating her with dignity and kindness. She was given more than she needed, a glimpse of the abundance God was weaving into her story.

🌾 Devotional:
God doesn’t just provide the bare minimum—He blesses abundantly. Ruth, who had come seeking mere scraps, received more than enough. She ate until she was satisfied and still had leftovers, a powerful image of God’s grace overflowing beyond expectation.

How often do we approach God hesitantly, believing we will receive just enough to get by? Yet, Scripture reminds us that He gives exceedingly, abundantly more than we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). His provision is not simply about meeting needs—it is about revealing His heart, showing us that in His presence, we will always have more than enough.

šŸ’” Reflection:
1ļøāƒ£ Have you ever experienced a season where God provided beyond what you expected?
2ļøāƒ£ What does this passage teach you about God’s generosity?
3ļøāƒ£ How can you extend grace and abundance to others in response to God’s provision in your own life?

šŸ™ Prayer:
Lord, You are a God of abundance, overflowing grace into my life in ways I cannot always see. Help me to trust Your provision, knowing that You always give more than enough. May I rest in Your goodness and extend Your kindness to those around me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

šŸ›  Application:
Reflect on ways God has blessed you beyond your expectations. Take a moment to thank Him, and consider how you can be a vessel of generosity—offering kindness and provision to others, just as Boaz did for Ruth.

šŸ“Œ Takeaway:
God’s provision is abundant, overflowing beyond expectation. Trust Him, for He always gives more than enough.
