📖 Faith Beyond Sight: Trusting the Redeemer

🔹 Scripture:
“For we walk by faith, not by sight.”2 Corinthians 5:7 (NIV)

🔹 Background:
Paul’s words in 2 Corinthians 5:7 remind believers that faith is not dependent on what we see but on the unseen promises of God. This truth is beautifully illustrated in Ruth’s journey. She stepped into the unknown, leaving Moab behind, trusting that God would provide—even when she couldn’t see the outcome.

🔹 Devotional:
Ruth’s story is one of faith in action. She didn’t have visible proof that her journey to Bethlehem would lead to redemption. She didn’t know that gleaning in Boaz’s field would open the door to restoration. Yet, she walked forward, trusting in God’s provision.

Faith is often like that—stepping forward when the path is unclear. We may not see the outcome, but we trust the One who holds it. Like Ruth, we are called to walk by faith, not by sight. When circumstances seem uncertain, when answers feel distant, we can rest in the assurance that God is working behind the scenes.

🔹 Reflection:
🔸 Where in your life do you need to trust God beyond what you can see?
🔸 How does Ruth’s journey encourage you to walk by faith?
🔸 What steps of faith is God calling you to take today?

🔹 Prayer:
Lord, help me to trust You even when I cannot see the way ahead. Like Ruth, may I walk forward in faith, knowing You are my Redeemer. Strengthen my heart to rely on Your promises, not my circumstances. Amen.

🔹 Application:
🌿 Identify an area where you need to trust God and surrender it in prayer.
🌿 Read Ruth 2–3, reflecting on how faith led to redemption.
🌿 Choose a hymn that speaks of faith and trust, letting it minister to your heart.

🔹 Takeaway:
Faith is not about seeing—it’s about trusting. Like Ruth, step forward in confidence, knowing that God is guiding your path.
