📖 Genesis 41:17–40

“Can we find such a one as this, a man in whom is the Spirit of God?”

Pharaoh shares his troubling dreams with Joseph, recounting the symbolism of the lean and fat cows, the scorched and healthy grain. Joseph, guided by God’s wisdom, interprets the dreams as a prophecy: seven years of abundance followed by seven years of famine. But more than interpretation, Joseph offers a divine strategy—launching him from prisoner to prime minister.

Joseph’s rise wasn’t a lucky break—it was the result of years of obedience in obscurity. Betrayed, enslaved, imprisoned… yet every season refined his faith. When the moment came, Joseph didn’t seek personal gain. He gave glory to God, and Pharaoh saw the Spirit at work in him.

Sometimes leadership begins with suffering. Elevation isn’t about titles—it’s about timing, integrity, and preparation. Joseph’s heart was ready long before the crown was placed on his head.
