Don’t Quit Now

🌊 Theme: Anchored in Hope

📖 Scripture:
“So let us not become tired of doing good; for if we do not give up, the time will come when we will reap the harvest.” — Galatians 6:9 (GNTD)

📜 Background:
Paul’s letter to the Galatians urges believers to live by the Spirit and not grow weary in doing good. In chapter 6, he reminds them that their efforts—though sometimes unseen or unrewarded—are not wasted. God’s timing is perfect, and perseverance leads to a harvest of blessing.

💡 Devotional:
One October evening, I watched golden leaves fall slowly across the trail near Dicks Creek. The trees had held on through summer storms, and now they released their beauty. I thought of Galatians 6:9: “If we do not give up, the time will come
”

There are seasons when doing good feels exhausting. When prayers seem unanswered, kindness goes unnoticed, and progress feels slow. But God sees. He promises a harvest—not always immediate, but always certain. Hope anchors us when results are delayed. Faith fuels us when energy fades.

If you’re tempted to quit, don’t. Your sowing matters. Your obedience is seen. The harvest is coming.

đŸȘž Reflection Questions:

  • Where in your life are you feeling weary or tempted to give up?
  • What “good” have you been sowing that hasn’t yet produced fruit?
  • How can you anchor your perseverance in God’s promises this week?

🙏 Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the promise of harvest.
When I feel tired or unseen, remind me that You are faithful.
Help me keep sowing, keep loving, keep trusting.
Anchor me in hope, and strengthen me to endure.
Amen.

đŸ› ïž Application:
Write down one area where you’ve been tempted to quit.
Beside it, write: “I will keep sowing.”
Each time discouragement rises this week, speak that truth aloud and ask God to renew your strength.

📌 Takeaway:
Don’t quit now—your faithfulness matters.
Anchored in hope, you will reap a harvest in God’s perfect time.
