Seed and Supply

🌊 Theme: Anchored in Hope

📖 Scripture:
“And God, who supplies seed for the sower and bread to eat, will also supply you with all the seed you need and will make it grow and produce a rich harvest from your generosity.”2 Corinthians 9:10 (GNTD)

📜 Background:
Paul is encouraging the Corinthian church to give generously, reminding them that God is the source of both provision and increase. This verse emphasizes that God doesn’t just ask us to sow—He equips us to do it. Our generosity becomes a channel for His abundance, and our hope is anchored in His faithful supply.

💡 Devotional:
One October morning, I scattered wildflower seeds in my backyard. The soil was cool, the air crisp. I thought of 2 Corinthians 9:10: “God… will supply you with all the seed you need.”

Sometimes we hesitate to give—our time, our energy, our resources—because we fear running out. But God promises to provide both seed and harvest. He gives us what we need to sow, and He multiplies it in ways we can’t always see. Our role is to trust, to plant, and to believe that growth will come.

If you feel empty or unsure today, remember: God is your source. He will supply what you need to keep sowing hope.

🪞 Reflection Questions:

  • What “seed” has God given you to sow—time, words, resources, creativity?
  • Where have you seen Him multiply your generosity in the past?
  • What fears or doubts keep you from sowing freely?

🙏 Prayer:
Lord, thank You for being my source.
You provide the seed and the strength to sow.
Help me trust Your supply and give generously, even when I feel stretched.
Anchor me in Your promise, and let my life produce a harvest of hope.
Amen.

🛠️ Application:
Write down one area where you feel low on “seed.”
Beside it, write: “God will supply.”
Take one small step this week to sow anyway—whether it’s a kind word, a gift, or a prayer.

📌 Takeaway:
God provides both seed and supply.
Anchored in hope, we sow generously and trust Him to bring the harvest.
