Here I Am, Lord—Send Me

✨ January Theme: Set My Course

🕊️ Welcome Moment

There are moments when God’s presence becomes so real, so undeniable, that your only response is surrender. Isaiah experienced this in the temple—a holy encounter that reshaped his identity and redirected his life.

Today, step into a posture of openness. Let your heart whisper the same courageous words Isaiah spoke:
“Here I am. Send me.”
Not because you feel ready, but because you trust the One who calls.

📖 Scripture Immersion

Isaiah 6:8 (NIV)
“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?’
And I said, ‘Here am I. Send me!’”

Read it slowly, imagining the weight, wonder, and willingness in Isaiah’s response.

🌄 Snapshot

Imagine standing in a quiet chapel at dawn. Light filters through stained‑glass windows, casting colors across the floor. The air feels still—almost expectant.

As you sit in the silence, you sense God stirring something within you. Not a loud command. Not a detailed assignment. Just a gentle question rising in your spirit:
“Will you go where I send you?”

You don’t know the destination.
You don’t know the cost.
You don’t know the timeline.

But you know the One who asks.
And that is enough.

This is the heart of Isaiah 6:8:
Calling begins with availability, not clarity.

🔍 Deep Dive

“Then I heard the voice of the Lord…”
Calling begins with listening. Isaiah didn’t volunteer before he heard God’s voice—he responded to it.

“Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”
God’s question is an invitation, not an obligation. He seeks willing hearts, not perfect resumes.

“Here am I…”
This is the posture of surrender—standing before God with open hands and an open heart.

“Send me!”
Isaiah didn’t ask for details. He didn’t negotiate terms. He simply trusted God enough to say yes.

As you Set Your Course this January, remember:
God isn’t asking for your perfection.
He’s asking for your availability.
