Imagine a traveler walking through a bustling marketplace. Voices call out, colors flash, treasures glitter from every direction. Some items are beautiful but fragile. Others are impressive but empty. A few are truly valuable—quiet, steady, enduring.
The traveler’s eyes linger on one particular treasure, and without realizing it, her feet begin to follow.
Her heart moves toward what she values.
Her path bends toward what she desires.
This is the way of the soul.
Your treasure doesn’t just reflect your heart—it directs it.

“Where your treasure is…”
Treasure is whatever you prize, protect, or pursue. It may be time, attention, comfort, approval, security, or something deeper. Treasure reveals priority.
“…there your heart will be also.”
Your heart follows your treasure like a compass needle follows north.
Your affections, choices, and direction naturally align with what you value most.
Jesus isn’t warning you—He’s inviting you.
Inviting you to place your treasure where your heart will flourish.
Inviting you to invest in what lasts.
Inviting you to let God shape your desires so your course becomes clear.
