New Devotional Series Begins April 6
Bloom Where God Plants You
As we step out of Lent and into the bright hope of Easter, we’re beginning a brand‑new daily devotional series for the rest of April—an invitation to notice the quiet places where God is planting new life in us.
Starting Monday, April 6th, join me each day as we explore how God grows faith in ordinary soil, strengthens roots in hidden seasons, and calls us to bloom right where He’s placed us.
Let’s lean into this new month with expectancy. New life is already breaking through.

Planted with Purpose
Bloom Where God Plants You
Welcome Moment
Some seasons feel like waiting rooms. Others feel like wilderness. Still others feel like we’ve been planted in soil we didn’t choose. Jeremiah 29:11 speaks into those very places — not with vague encouragement, but with a promise rooted in God’s character.
As April begins, and as we lean into the theme Bloom Where God Plants You, today’s devotional invites you to trust that where you are is not an accident. God plants with intention. He grows with purpose. And He leads with hope.
Scripture Immersion
Jeremiah 29:11
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Read it slowly. Notice that God doesn’t say you know the plans — He does.
Snapshot
Imagine the people of Israel in exile — far from home, far from comfort, far from what they expected their lives to be. They longed for escape. They prayed for quick rescue. But God told them something surprising:
Build houses.
Plant gardens.
Seek the peace of the place where you are.
Bloom right where I’ve placed you.
And then He spoke the promise we hold today:
I know the plans I have for you.
Not random.
Not wasted.
Not forgotten.
But purposeful — even in unfamiliar soil.
Deep Dive
“For I know…”
God’s knowledge is perfect. He sees the whole story, not just the chapter you’re in.
“…the plans I have for you…”
Your life is not drifting. God is intentional, strategic, and deeply personal in His leading.
“…plans to prosper you and not to harm you…”
Prosperity here means wholeness, flourishing, peace — the kind only God can give.
“…plans to give you hope and a future.”
Hope is not wishful thinking. It is the confident expectation that God is already in your tomorrow.
As you step into April, remember:
Where God plants you, He also purposes you.

Closing Prayer
Father, thank You for planting me with purpose, even in seasons I don’t fully understand. Help me trust Your plans, rest in Your goodness, and bloom in the place You’ve chosen for me. Grow in me a hope that is rooted in Your promises and a future shaped by Your love. Amen.
