Abide in Him: Living the Easter Life Daily
Welcome Moment
There is a moment in every believer’s life when faith turns outward — when the love we have received from Christ becomes a love we are called to share. Mark 16:15 captures this turning point with clarity and purpose. Jesus sends His followers into the world not with fear, but with the power of His presence.
As we continue our May theme, Abide in Him: Living the Easter Life Daily, today’s devotional invites you to see your everyday life as a place where Christ’s mission continues through you.
Scripture Immersion
Mark 16:15 “Go into all the world and proclaim the good news to the whole creation.”
Read it slowly. Let the invitation — and the responsibility — settle into your spirit.
Snapshot
Imagine a single candle lit in a dark room. Its flame is small, but it changes everything. Now imagine that same flame lighting another candle… and another… and another. Soon the entire room glows.
This is how the gospel spreads.
Not always through grand gestures or global movements, but through one life shining into another. One conversation. One act of kindness. One moment of courage. One heart awakened by the love of Christ.
Jesus sends you into your world — your home, your neighborhood, your workplace, your relationships — carrying His light.
Deep Dive
“Go…” Faith is not static. It moves. It steps out. It responds to Christ’s call with willingness and trust.
“…into all the world…” Your “world” may not be distant nations. It may be the people you see every day — the ones God has placed in your path.
“…and proclaim the good news…” Proclaiming is not always preaching. It is living in such a way that Christ’s love becomes visible. It is speaking hope where there is fear. It is offering grace where there is hurt. It is embodying the gospel through your presence, your words, your compassion.
“…to the whole creation.” The gospel is expansive — reaching every person, every place, every corner of creation.
To abide in Jesus is to carry His presence into the world with joy, humility, and courage.
As you walk through this month, remember: You are sent — not alone, but with Christ’s power and love guiding every step.
