Reflection Journey

Imagine standing at a crossroads. One path is wide and easy, lined with familiar comforts. The other is narrow, winding, and marked by the shadow of a cross. Christ stands at the entrance of the narrow way, His eyes full of compassion, His hand extended.

He does not promise ease, but He promises Himself. Each step of surrender—each “yes” to His will—becomes a doorway to deeper freedom. The cross we carry is not punishment; it is participation in His redeeming love.

When we surrender control, we discover peace. When we release our plans, we find purpose. When we lose ourselves in Him, we are found.

“Deny yourself…” This is not rejection of worth but release of self‑rule. It means letting Christ reshape our desires and priorities.

“Take up your cross daily…” The cross is not a burden to bear but a symbol of love to live. It reminds us that surrender is continual, not occasional.

“Follow Me…” To follow is to trust the path even when we cannot see the destination. Christ leads us through surrender into resurrection life.

Walking in the Spirit means choosing surrender as a rhythm of grace—dying to self so His life can flourish within us.
