Abide in Him: Living the Easter Life Daily
As we enter the month of May, we’re invited into something deeper—something lasting.
Easter was never meant to be just a single day we celebrate and move on from. It is a way of life. A daily invitation to live in the hope, joy, and renewal that comes from the Resurrection. This month, we’re slowing down and leaning into that truth together.
Our new devotional series, Abide in Him: Living the Easter Life Daily, is a gentle call to remain rooted in Christ—not just on Sundays, not just in moments of need, but in the ordinary, everyday rhythms of life. To abide means to stay, to dwell, to remain. And that is where transformation happens.
Each day, we’ll reflect on Scripture, drawing from the daily Mass readings, and explore what it looks like to carry the light of Easter into our thoughts, our choices, and our relationships. Whether you’re in a season of joy, uncertainty, healing, or waiting, this is an invitation to stay close to the One who is constant through it all.
You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to show up—and remain.
Let this be a month of deep roots, renewed faith, and quiet growth.
We’re so glad you’re here. Let’s abide in Him—together.

Do Not Let Your Hearts Be Troubled
Abide in Him: Living the Easter Life Daily
Welcome Moment
Some words of Jesus feel like a hand placed gently over the heart — steadying, calming, reminding us that we are held. John 14:1 is one of those moments. Spoken on the edge of uncertainty, Jesus invites His disciples — and us — into a deeper kind of trust.
As we enter May and lean into our theme, Abide in Him: Living the Easter Life Daily, today’s devotional invites you to rest in the One who brings peace not by changing circumstances, but by anchoring your heart in His presence.
Scripture Immersion
John 14:1 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.”
Read it slowly. Hear it as a personal invitation, not a command to “try harder,” but a call to lean deeper.
Snapshot
Picture a small boat on a lake just before dawn. The water is still, the air cool, the world quiet. But beneath the surface, currents move — unseen, shifting, unpredictable.
Life can feel like that. Calm on the outside, swirling within.
Then imagine someone stepping into the boat — steady, sure, unhurried. Their presence doesn’t remove the currents, but it changes the atmosphere. The boat feels steadier. Your breathing slows. Peace returns.
This is what Jesus offers. Not the removal of uncertainty, but His presence in the midst of it.
Deep Dive
“Do not let your hearts be troubled…” Jesus acknowledges that trouble is real — but He invites you not to live in it. His words are a gentle redirection of the heart.
“You believe in God…” You already trust the Father’s character, His faithfulness, His goodness.
“…believe also in me.” Jesus invites you to place that same trust in Him — the One who conquered death, who walks with you, who holds your future.
To abide in Jesus is to let His presence become the anchor when your heart feels unsteady. To live the Easter life daily is to remember that the risen Christ is not distant — He is with you, strengthening you, calming you, guiding you.
As you walk through this month, remember: Peace is not the absence of trouble — it is the presence of Christ.
